Window Coverings Cleaning

We also clean even the most unusual window coverings such as: Valances, Top Treatments, Sheers, Festoons, Tie-Backs, Balloons, Roman & Austrian shades, Lambrequins, Scarves, Swags, Cascades, and Cornices.

 

Our Cleaning Process is to first pre-test fabric to see what type of cleaning method should be used. Then we pre-vacuum the drapes. We Steam or Dry Clean drapes using a high tech cleaning machine.

Draperies should be cleaned at least once a year. Monthly vacuuming of the headings, pleats, and the back of the drapery lining is a very good idea and will help remove surface dirt and dust.

 

Drapes should be lined to protect them from direct sunlight. Fabrics such as silk, acetate, rayon and cotton are more sensitive to sunlight than fabrics containing synthetic fibers such as polyester and acrylic. The single most important thing to remember is to never wash your drapery by hand.
